The Fort Lauderdale Community Development Corporation was formed in 1988. This 501(c) 3 non-profit organization’s mission is to “be the community economic development catalyst for Fort Lauderdale’s low and moderate-income residents” targeting the northwest section of Fort Lauderdale. The Fort Lauderdale Community Development Corporation strives to increase access to affordable housing, identify and implement economic development, alleviate poverty, and be an advocate for the residents of this targeted area.
